But it is.
It wasn't worn bushings causing its side to side motion.... one of the mounting bolts came loose (it had a nut with a tang to stop it from turning loose, but the tang was bent over) and allowed the rack to walk side to side slightly. This wore out the hole to an oblong for that bolt. I did my best to tighten the SHIT out of it, and it seems to be better for now. But with the oblong and the power steering leak basically lubricating the damn bushings and mount bolts, its probably only a matter of time before it comes loose again. Then more drastic measures will be taken.
Tl;dr, don't let women work on your Mustang.

Is she installing a collapsible steering column?
Because I don't know why you need the steering wheel there...
